The Administrative Division is responsible for handling the day-to-day operations of the department.  Our responsibilities include setting department policy, overseeing personnel, managing the department's fleet, upgrading and maintaining equipment, and budgeting issues.  We work together with the office personnel to run an efficient and effective police department.

Lieutenant Dan Broelmann serves as our Patrol Division Commander and also supervises the Community Policing Unit.  He can be contacted in reference to traffic concerns at dbroelmann@munster.org.

Lieutenant Daymon Johnston has serves as the Administrative Lieutenant, Accreditation Manager, and Investigations Unit Commander.  He can be reached at djohnston@munster.org.
