ROTARY PARK

Located at the corner of Ridge Road and Columbia Avenue, this landscaped park has three metal sculptures that depict the history of the Calumet Region (American Indian, Farmer, and Steel Worker).  The Munster Rotary Club donated the sculptures in 1976 as a part of the U.S. Bicentennial Celebration.

HERITAGE PARK

Located at the southeast corner of Ridge Road and Columbia Avenue, this historical park offers a gazebo which is ideal for weddings. The park also has a forested area which is home to native plants and fauna and includes a nature trail. The Kaske House founded on this property has been historically restored and in 1998 was listed in the Historical Register. It is currently operated by the Munster Historical Society and exhibits a small museum. 

BIEKER WOODS NATURE AREA

6.5 Acres

Located at the southwest corner of Ridge Road and Columbia Avenue, this wooded preserve features natural settings, regional plants, wildlife, and nature trails. This is the site of Munster Parks and Recreation's annual "Bieker Woods Night Walk" held each fall.
