Munster Municipal Code
Under supervision of the Town Engineer, the Building Inspectors provide effective enforcement of the adopted codes. The inspectors counsel with architects, engineers, contractors, builders, owners and others in matters related to design, materials, material standards, and modern construction.They also assist in maintaining a technical library on building materials, construction standards. The Community Development Department's library is accessible to the general public during working hours. Reference material is reserved for onsite use only and will not be checked out.
In addition, copies of the Town's ordinances and construction codes are on reserve at the Munster Public Library and on line at https://www.municode.com/library/in/munster/codes/code_of_ordinances
