Town of Munster Indiana

The Town of Munster provides collection of "yard waste" (such as grass clippings, weeds, tree branches, etc.) on your regular collection day. Residents cannot throw them in the garbage. Residents can throw the yard waste out in one of two ways. One way is to place the yard waste in "Kraft Bags" designed for yard waste collection, or residents can filled ONLY with yard waste. The Town asks that residents please mark somewhere on the cans that the cans are filled with yard waste, so that the collectors do not have to waste time examining each can. Branches will be accepted as long as they are no longer than four feet and no thicker than ten inches in diameter.
