Town of Munster Indiana

In order to operate a food truck, a license is required. An application must be completed and submitted to the Office of the Clerk-Treasurer. At the time of application, a non-refundable $25.00 fee is required to conduct a background check. Once a successful background check is completed, documentation including a Lake County, Indiana Health Department Permit and letter(s) granting permission from the property owner(s) where the food truck will operate are required. Licenses are issued for one week ($25.00), one month ($40.00), or one year ($75.00). Complete details are included in the application packet available here.
