The Town publishes and mails out to every water customer a very thorough Annual Water Quality Report (aka Consumer Confidence Report) that is also available on the Town Website, and linked below. This report is designed to inform residents about the quality water and services we deliver. Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. In 2019, we distributed 1,227,131,000 gallons of water from our Lake Michigan source water, which is purchased pretreated from Hammond Water Works. Hammond treats Munster water using disinfectant and filtration to remove or reduce harmful contaminants that may come from the source water.
