Does Public Works weed whack the alleyways?

Residents are responsible for the maintenance of the alley landscape in the parkway that borders their rear yards. Public Works on an exception basis does cut back alley shrub/tree overgrowth when it interferes with garbage collection trucks approximately once annually in areas as needed. It does not involve weed whacking but rather power hedge trimmers, tree branch cutters, and chain saws typically performed by a work crew of 2 to 4 individuals accompanied by a pickup truck or dump truck.
