REGISTER NOW FOR THE 4TH ANNUAL NATIONAL NIGHT OUT BLOCK PARTY CONTEST!

The Munster Police Department will be holding town-wide block parties on Saturday, August 1st (rain date the following day).  Neighborhood blocks and subdivisions are encouraged to organize block parties to promote unity amongst their neighbors.  The Munster Town Council has once again waived all associated fees for block parties for that day only.

Larger groups of police department representatives will visit parties throughout that afternoon and evening by appointment (in addition to Munster firefighters at random times) to select the winners of this year's BLOCK UNITY AWARDS.  Winning block parties will be recognized at the National Night Out Celebration on August 4th, where street signs will be presented and later installed in their neighborhoods by the town.  

PARTIES MUST RSVP BY JULY 1ST by contacting Sergeant James Ghrist at 219-836-6639 or jghrist@munster.org with your contact person, location, contact number/email, and time duration of your party.  Your requested visit time will be figured out later depending on the number of parties and will be determined first come, first serve by the parties that register first.  All parties must end by 10:00pm that day.
