Town of Munster Indiana

This past December, the Munster Police Department was notified that Munster's 2022 National Night Out Against Crime Celebration, which was held last August, was ranked as the #5 National Night Out event in the United States in our population category of 15,000-50,000.  Our town's plaque, received this past week, is pictured above.  Munster was also the only Indiana community to be nationally ranked in any of the population categories.  Hundreds of communities across the country celebrate the National Night Out each year.

The Munster Police Department would like to once again thank the many volunteers, attendees, sponsors, and booth participants who helped to make this past year's National Night Out event the best one yet.  We look forward to beginning plans this spring for this year's event which is scheduled for Tuesday, August 1st.
