Rick Baltensberger, owner of Miss Print in Munster, presents Officer James Ghrist of the Munster Police Department with the trading cards for Munster police officers (1,000 for each officer) that were produced and donated by his business starting in 2007.  Examples of some of the cards are displayed below.
Trading Card Collection

During recent years, police officers from Munster have begun providing trading cards bearing their likenesses to kids.  These cards contain information on the officer, a personal message for the child receiving the card, contact information for their police department, and the logo of the business that sponsored the card.  Officers then hand out these cards to kids while on calls, in the schools, at fun fairs, at block parties, or when driving through the neighborhoods.  The cards promote a positive relationship and line of communication between kids and police officers.

The Munster Police Department would like to thank MISS PRINT for their continued sponsorship of this fun and popular program for our community's kids.
