This notice is being posted February 3, 2026. BP’s contractors continue to work to vacate and remove an unused pipeline in the south end of Town. Over the course of the next week, they will be putting matting down in Briar Creek Park and in Cobblestones subdivision (approx. 1220 Boxwood Drive) near the Briar Creek Park pedestrian bridge that goes over Hart Ditch.
This is being done in advance of work to bring in a crane to remove the empty pipelines that cross Hart Ditch just south of the pedestrian bridge. Closures of the walking paths and pedestrian bridge may occur during the course of this work. Pathway users are urged to find a different route during this inconvenience for the safety of all involved. Closures are anticipated to occur during daytime hours however a full closure of the area is expected to occur one of the days during the week of Feb. 9th. When there is a full closure, the pathways will not be available for recreational use.
For more information, residents can contact BP’s on-site representative for this project, Chris Iannotti at (636) 484-4353.
