Town of Munster Indiana

The front hall of the Munster Town Hall has 1,000 gallons or 379 cases of bottled water on display.  This display is to help us to visualize 1,000 gallons of water.  If your home or business has a 5/8-inch water pipes, the cost of water delivered to your faucets would be approximately $14.81.  We have compared that cost with the cost to other communities and Munster is providing your water to you at a fair price.  For fun, we also looked at the retail value of 1,000 gallons of water.  We compared local supermarkets and warehouse clubs and it is surprising to see this display could have cost as much as $ 1,910!
