Many Munster residents received an email notifying residents of a new invoice from the Town of Munster. Paper invoices will go in the mail tomorrow, June 2nd, and residents should expect to receive it this week along with your monthly News You Can Use newsletter.
We are in the middle of a significant software conversion and are working with several new and different vendors. Invoice Cloud initiated this email on the Town’s behalf and will be processing all online payments. If you have previously signed up to process your payment online, either using your bank account or credit card, you will need to sign up with the new provider, Invoice Cloud. There is a convenience fee for an online payment.
If you set up an ACH automatic withdrawal through the Town Clerk-Treasurers' office, you do not need to take any action; your payment will be processed as it always has. There is no fee for this service, nor is there a fee if you pay in person, even using a credit card if you pay in person, or use the mail or Red Drop Box. The Clerk-Treasurer’s office is open 7:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
As far as the email you received, we have had many requests to go paperless, and we are trying to accommodate those requests. If you only receive an email and do not receive a paper bill by the weeks end and would like a paper bill, please contact waterbilling@munster.org. If you do not want to receive the email reminder, please unsubscribe.
Current as well as back issues of News You Can Use are available on the Town of Munster website www.Munster.org. I will ask Invoice Cloud to include a link to the newsletter in future emails.
Any further questions, please contact Wendy Mis, the Town of Munster Clerk-Treasurer, at (219) 836-6945 or wmis@munster.org. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this conversion. We listened to the requests of the residents and are working toward making improvements accordingly.
