The Munster Public Library is located at 8701 Calumet Avenue, adjacent to Community Park.
Library Cards
Munster residents and property or business owners are eligible to receive a library borrower's card for use at any of the branches of the Lake County Public Library. In addition, certain non-residents, such as teachers and students are also eligible. To receive a card, you must apply in person with a valid ID with your current street address.
Special Programs
The public library system runs a wide variety of adult and children's programs, ranging from storytelling sessions to parties and cultural programs. You may contact the Munster Public Library at 836-8450 for information on upcoming programs.
