Program Kick-Off Orientation Meeting

Wednesday, May 1st at 6:00PM

The Munster Police Department invites all residents to join up with our NEW Dog Walker Watch Program, which is being held as an extension of our Munster Neighborhood Crime Watch Program.  Dog Walker Watch encourages neighbors to assist local law enforcement as extra eyes and ears while out walking their dog.  The program enhances the partnership between police and community while providing resources for neighbors to be more aware and how to effectively observe and report suspicious activity. 

This meeting will include a BRIEF training for interested residents in regards to the new program.  Orders will then be taken for the participants to receive their FREE Dog Walker Watch t-shirt for themselves.  T-shirts are sponsored by the Choice Community Council of Munster.

After the t-shirts are received, the participants will be notified of when and where to pick them up from so that they can get started with the program and with helping to serve as extra eyes and ears in our neighborhoods while they are walking their dogs.
