Event Description:

Join the Regional Development Authority (RDA) of Northwest Indiana and consultants Farr Associates for a second public meeting on Transit Oriented Development for the proposed West Lake Extension. The meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at the Centennial Park Clubhouse. 

The RDA and consultants are working with the Northwest Indiana Commuter Transportation District (NICTD) to develop custom station-area plans in order to strengthen NICTD's application for federal funding for the West Lake Corridor. This meeting will be an opportunity for Farr Associates to present the alternatives they have designed based on the feedback received from residents at the October 25, 2016 TOD public meeting in Munster and online surveys. Residents who attend the meeting will be able to offer feedback about the proposals and ask further questions related to the TOD planning process as it related to the West Lake Corridor.
