Town of Munster Indiana

The Munster Police Department, partnered once again with the Munster Junior Woman's Club, held their 19th Annual Cops & Kids/Heroes & Helpers holiday shopping event on December 6, 2023 at Target in Munster.  This year, approximately 70 area children in need were taken shopping by police officers, civilian employees, Volunteers in Police Service (VIPS), and MJWC members for toys or clothing with funds that were generously provided by area residents, businesses, and community service organizations.  In addition, each family was provided with a gift card to purchase a turkey or ham for their holiday dinner.
