Active Shooter Awareness Workshop for Businesses, Churches, and Schools
Presented by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security
Monday, June 20, 2016 from 6pm-8pm
Munster Centennial Clubhouse - 1005 S. Centennial Drive
This Active Shooter Awareness Workshop, which is being hosted through the Indiana Department of Homeland Security and Munster Police Department, is geared towards the employees and attendees at any office, event or public facility. There are even discussions about making family plans. These are basic ideas and thoughts to try and help ANYONE to have a better chance to survive an active shooter event in their workplace. It is a very relaxed atmosphere so that the attendees feel more comfortable to engage in discussion.
This event is open to ANY area resident who would like to hear the information. For more information, please contact Munster Police Officer James Ghrist at 219-836-6639 or jghrist@munster.org.
