McDonald's - 515 Ridge Road

The Munster Police Department invites all residents to their next "Coffee with a Cop" Event, which will be held on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at McDonald's, located at 515 Ridge Road in Munster.  This event will include:

• An opportunity for the public to speak with police department representatives over food or coffee.
• No speeches will be given, just an opportunity for residents to either ask questions, provide concerns, or if they just would like to get to know some of our police officers.
• Information for parents in regards to child abduction prevention in observance of National Missing & Exploited Children Day.
• Children accompanying parents or grandparents who participate in the event will receive a coupon for a free dessert (sundae, cone, or shake) courtesy of McDonald's.
• A patrol car will be parked outside for residents to take an up close look at, and the department's K-9 "Django" will also be in attendance.
• Tickets will be on sale on-site for the upcoming Police & Fire Charity Softball Event (scheduled for June 14th at Community Park).
• Ronald McDonald will stop by for a visit.

We hope that many residents will stop by that afternoon to visit with our police officers, who will be staged in a designated area in the rear portion of the restaurant along with a small portion of the parking lot.  Please note that food and beverage items will be available for purchase only.  For more information, please contact Officer James Ghrist at 219-836-6639 or jghrist@munster.org.
